Jack White can rock out…but did you know he can also swing a mean bat and it’s headed to Baseball Hall Of Fame? Warstic, a bat company co-owned by White and L.A. Angels player Ian Kinsler announced the rocker’s game-used would be enshrined in Cooperstown following a special charity game that took place in May. Hall Of Fame president Jeff Idelson was also in attendance.
Now of course this was part of a fantastic publicity stunt to assist in promoting a special fundraiser. Waristic made 50 limited edition replicas of the Onefastbuffalo designed Hall of Fame Warstic Bat personally signed by Jack White and individually numbered and put on auction.
The auction just recently closed and has raised over $30,000 for the Native Wellness Institute which seeks to teach and promote healthy lifestyle practices, ancestral eating, Indigenized fitness, and mental-spiritual connectedness. The monies raised will also be used to sponsor native youth baseball players unable to meet fee requirements for their league .
SO maybe Jack does deserve to be in the Hall!
